秋季聯歡圓滿結束!

無論是幫忙準備食物遊戲或是幫忙消費和同歡的人，我們感謝您的參與，讓今年的秋季聯歡活動成功地達成募款和同樂的目的。

謝謝鴻福湘園維州店、Mountain View 果園、天一麵包、老媽拌麵、茶逸軒、冠軍食品、River Riders、 Sportrock、 Skate Quest、 sweetFrog、 Fairfax Ice Arena。因為這些慷慨贊助的廠商，讓我們有一百多項摸彩獎項，總值高達 $1,500。

特別謝謝小一丙班潘若櫻老師挺身而出當我們的摸彩主持人。

『募款最多』優勝班級

恭喜小一甲贏得募款最多的班級。小一甲得到由 The Laser Tag Group 贊助的 Laser Tag Party 禮券一張。 特別謝謝提供最多道菜和遊戲的小四甲，小四甲只差一丁點輸給了小一甲，讓小一甲贏得了募款最多的班級頭銜。這兩班是今年秋季聯歡募款活動的最大功臣，兩班合起來所募到的金額是將近活動募款總數的三分之一。

『最好吃美食』得獎者

恭喜小一甲的便當得到最好吃美食的頭銜。負責準備便當的家長們：郭心怡、陳怡伶及陳怡樺得到 $50 現金獎勵，小一甲得到 $25 現金獎勵。

如何加入參與的行列

• 美食捐贈
  • 請到 ECS Online 登記
  • 不知道帶什麼菜嗎？快來參考一下菜單樣本吧！
• 帶領遊戲活動
  • 不太會煮菜嗎？沒關係，設計個有趣的遊戲或活動來和孩子們同樂。
  • 學校有些許器具可借用。有意者請跟募款組聯絡登記：fundraising@nvaecs.org
• 其他活動義工
  秋季聯歡需要很多幕前幕後的幫手，請家長們踴躍挺身而出。有意者請即刻上網登記。相關活動如下：
  • 臉部彩繪藝術家 (3:30-5:30)：如果你是一個很有藝術天分又會在臉上做畫的人，我們需要你！
  • 氣球藝術家 (3:30-5:30)：有經驗的氣球藝術家，請挺身和孩子們同歡。
  • Glitter Tattoo 藝術家 (3:30-5:30): 協助主持 Temporary Glitter Tattoo Body Art Station。

為了感謝秋季聯歡義工大力的幫忙，每位義工各得一張摸彩券。另為鼓勵美食及遊戲捐贈，我們將給參與率最高的班級的每位美食及遊戲捐贈者，多一張摸彩券。獎品籌備中，請試目以待！

THANK YOU for Your Support to Fall Festival

The 2015 Fall Festival was a great success with delicious food and fun games. We hope everyone enjoyed this year's Fall Festival. A BIG THANK YOU to EVERYONE who had cooked hard, sold hard, eaten hard, and played hard as well as to all the volunteers who helped to make the event memorable.

Winners of Fall Festival Class Contests

Congratulations to E1A for winning the class contest with the most funds raised per student. They will receive a Laser Tag Party, sponsored by The The Laser Tag Group. A big SHOUT-OUT to E4A who won the contest of the highest contribution rate and only lost the most funds raised contest by a hair-thin margin! These two classes combined raised near one third of funds in this event!

Winner of “The Best Dish” Contest

E1A’s Bento Box won “The Best Dish”. Congratulations to Margaret Kuo, Christine Chen and Eva Chen, who worked together on the dish and win the $50 cash prize. E1A also wins a $25 credit toward class expense.

This year's highly anticipated Fall Festival is coming soon in October. It is ECS’s largest fundraising event of the year. The success of the event really depends on every member of our community. Be the first to donate a dish or two to the event!

How to Help

The event is just around the corner and we still need your involvement...

• Food Donation
  • To donate food, please sign up at ECS Online.
  • View Sample Menu
• Game Hosting
  • Not good at cooking? How about host a fun game or activity for the kids?
  • You can borrow the game equipment from school. Game Equipment List. Please contact fundraising@nvaecs.org to sign up.
• Other Activities for Volunteers
  The success of the event really depends on every member of our community. We need many volunteers to work behind the scene as well as in front. Please sign up at ECS Online:
  • Face Paint Artists (3:30-5:30): Are you a painter? What is your choice of media? Water color? Oil? Acrylic? Why not try makeup-quality paint and use faces as your canvas?
  • Balloon Artists (3:30-5:30): We need experienced Balloon Artists to co-host the Balloon Sculpture Station.
  • Glitter Tattoo Body Artists (3:30-5:30): Co-host the Temporary Glitter Tattoo Body Art Station.

Raffles at Fall Festival

As a token of our appreciation, every Fall Festival volunteer will receive one raffle ticket. Additionally, to encourage food/game donations, every food/game donor from the class with the highest contribution rate will receive a second raffle ticket.

Friendly Competitions

• The class raises the most funds will receive a big prize. (Prize is being finalized.)
